Brief
Our client, a scalp micropigmentation (SMP) clinic, wanted to get more out of their existing video assets. Their YouTube channel had solid educational content, but those videos weren’t driving much traffic to the site or converting visitors into leads.
We introduced a video-to-blog strategy, transforming each explainer video into an optimized, search-driven blog post. This approach allowed us to:
- Extend video visibility beyond YouTube and into Google Search
- Keep visitors on the page longer with embedded, high-retention videos
- Turn informational content into a lead-generation channel
By repurposing authentic, expert-led videos into structured blog posts, we built a scalable content engine that improved both engagement and conversions.
Results
After embedding optimized videos into existing blog posts and creating new “video-to-blog” articles around search demand, the clinic started seeing tangible growth within the 90 days:
- +37% increase in traffic
- +81% more search impressions
- +64% more Contact Us form leads
These video-enhanced blogs quickly became top-five pages site-wide for both traffic and conversions. Topics like “SMP after 5 years” and “Does scalp micropigmentation look real” saw dramatic ranking improvements: jumping from positions 12 → 1 and 9 → 1, respectively.
On YouTube, engagement aligned perfectly with search growth: videos consistently surpassed 100 views with 60%+ audience retention at the 30-second mark, showing that the same content resonated across both channels.
By bridging SEO and video strategy, the clinic didn’t just gain visibility: it built trust and authority with real people searching for SMP results they could believe in.
