Brief

This client has been in the home care industry for 17 years and came to Sagapixel looking to increase their online visibility. Prior to working with us, their site was only getting 27 organic clicks per month and they were struggling to bring in qualified leads. 

This client uniquely offers home health care services, like skilled nursing and physical therapy, in addition to traditional home care services, making them stand out in their competitive market.

Upon review, the client’s website was not well optimized for home care or home health care services. Additionally, the existing pages did not include geomodifiers, which prevented them from ranking on Google for local searches in their primary market.

Results

Our team identified locations across PA to target with a detailed location page strategy, including all of their primary services. We started by targeting “caregiver + location” and “24 hour caregiver + location” queries for their standard home care services. For their home health care services, we created “home health aide + location” pages, as this is the most common search term for people in need of home medical care.

This allowed us to incorporate a full list of relevant services, and gave us the opportunity to target unique keywords with each page, all driving highly relevant traffic in their target market.

At the end of the first year, we had more than tripled the average organic monthly traffic, to a steady ~110 clicks. And after the 2nd year, we have nearly tripled organic traffic again, with a steady ~300 clicks each month. 

We were able to grow our client’s online presence quite well for local search in particular, with ~12% of traffic each month coming from their Google Business Profiles.

In 2 years working with the client, we were able to secure 46 keywords on page 1 for home care, home health and 24 hour care services. Many of these keywords are in highly competitive markets, such as King of Prussia, Drexel Hill, Villanova and Wynnewood.

As you can see, we’ve achieved valuable rankings for this client in multiple locations, allowing them to expand their reach. 

As a result of our efforts, leads have gone up significantly. When comparing the last three months to the previous period, contact form submissions increased from 48 to 80 — a 67% increase. Additionally, phone calls from the website have risen from 31 to 36, which is a 16% increase.

With improvements in traffic and page 1 keywords, we were able to increase conversions by over 400% in the past 12 months.
